School Opening Times

The school is open for 32.5 hours per week.

Morning Routine

School gates open at 8.30am.

From this time, children and parents may remain in the playground until the classrooms open at 8.45am.  Children are the responsibility of parents before 8.45am and they may not go on the apparatus, play ball or ride bikes or scooters in the school grounds at this time.

Children are to be in their classroom by 8.45am

Registration for all children will start  at 8.45am and registers will close at 9am.  It is very important for children to be punctual.  Lateness disrupts the start of the day for your child and the other children in the class.

Any children that arrive at school after 9am will be marked as late and must come to the school office to be marked in. Children arriving after 9.30am will receive an unauthorised absent mark for the morning session.

Afternoon Routine

The school gates open at 3.05pm

Children in EYFS will be dismissed at 3.10pm from their classroom.

Children in years 1-6 will be dismissed at 3.15pm and are the responsibility of parents after 3.15pm.  Year 5 and 6 children are allowed to leave the school site alone, only if a parent/guardian has completed the neccessary paperwork. All other children are to be collected.

If you are running late, please contact the office as soon as you can on 01582 618400 so that we can reassure your child and inform the class teacher.
